Meet the Founder
Miguel is a brand merchandising professional shaped by experience inside one of the industry’s most respected environments. During his formative years at Rightsleeve (now Genumark), and later at Witly, Miguel developed a disciplined approach to delivering merchandise programs across hospitality, food and beverage, cannabis, corporate, agency, camp, and sports sectors.
He has closed and delivered projects for boutique hotels and national travel collectives, supplied branded programs for cafés, breweries, and wineries, supported summer camps with seasonal gear, and outfitted sports communities across Toronto.
His portfolio spans boutique initiatives to multi-million-dollar programs with structured quarterly deliverables. What defines Miguel’s approach is not just operational experience, but philosophy.
Project conversations never stopped at budget, timeline, and quantity. The real work began with deeper questions.
What does your brand stand for?
What values guide your decisions?
How should your merchandise feel in someone’s hands?
That discipline of understanding brand before product continues to shape every Project 116 engagement.
Miguel has managed over twenty accounts simultaneously, negotiated supplier partnerships to unlock cost efficiencies, overseen production from proof to final delivery, coordinated freight and customs documentation, and consistently increased client retention through thoughtful account strategy.
He understands that great merchandise is not simply printed. It is considered, sourced, verified, and delivered with care.
Project 116 represents Miguel’s next chapter, but the standards remain the same.
Quality,Clarity and Execution.
Brands do not live in logos.
They live in the objects people use, wear, and keep.
Project 116 exists to deliver relevant, creative, and high-quality branded merchandise that aims for your brand to live forever.
